TBH I'm stoked to be getting 3000kms out of these Dulop OEM things...in saying that I'm not giving it heaps as I don't trust them. Just me...

I'm used to 2000kms or slightly less from my ZX10's wrapped with PP's
The last few hundred miles have been, ehm, interesting to say the least.
The wear markers were the highest point of the tread...

Unfortunately, most of my milage is commuting into the city, so 30 limits most of the way, with a wee burst of motorway filtering so the tyres get a pretty easy life.

One of me mates had over 5000 in his with an FZ1!!

Was interesting actually comparing the tyres after an afternoon of playing, mine was nicely bobbled, his was the texture of fine sandpaper, almost wet'n'dry.
Difference between an inline 4 and a hulking great twin.
Good stuff mate
How did you find the difference in profile re the 2CT's being "sharper".

PS........5000miles????????????????????????????????
Gosh Damn it D,

Why the hell did you go and do that? You fookin know what I am talkin about?

ABM, One of my riding mates has a speed tripple with CT-2's
on it, when he had 3000 miles on his tyre....it looked like it had 500 on it?
it kinda freaked me out cos at that time I had 3200 on the 208RR's and mine were all the way past the wear indicators. I was amazed, when I switched to my new tyres, I went with the corsas and with 500 mi's on them I can already see the wear on the rear, what a pisser. My mates CT2 looked near new? WTF.

Now, back to you D, That ASS IS fookin tight ???? Welll maybe ? but you need to get it down, my ole lady is a Korean girl and we kinda love each other (in between the growling) we have been married 20 years and have 2 kids 18 and 16 yo, so the honeymoon is over for sure, but that ASS bouncing around with the MUFFIN from hell is taunting me, just makes me want to see the head and all, and then go into the bosses bedroom and pound the living hell out of her tight little snatcharoma. Take it down or I may kill her.......hehe
I totally agree with you Joe - my wife is firey Latina and isn't kind of bouncing arses unless it's hers
Especially when I'm at the computer and shes slaving away doing homework for her masters.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice, but there are plenty of other sites out there for that stuff.

Thanks DMNTD - Del
I'm up to 3800 miles on the original Dunlops and to be honest I reckon there's a lot more to go, unless they wear at a higher rate towards the end of their life. Wouldn't surprise me if I get them up to 4500 miles
How long have you been videoing my missus in the buff????

Oh, back on topic, I have standard Pirelli Diabolos with about 2800 miles on them (inc 300 track miles under their belt) and 3mm tread left on the rear and about 4mm front. And they're as sticky as one of Toxteth O'Grady's bogies!!

I'll be replacing the rear in April with the same again!

No idea how many miles i'v done on my 2CTs but what i can say is that are fantastic tyres, you will love them!
I like the grip on the Diablos better than the Powers. May be because I use Pirelli slicks on the track.

And that ass makes me wanna go home to see the wife for lunch
