#8When I wash my bike or it gets stuck in the rain, I get water in my gauge also, it fogs it up a bit, but leaving it out in the sun for a couple hours clears it up with no ill effects.
Never had that happen on any of my bikes before.

#13I just got a new set of clocks for an entirely different reason, my neutral light would stick on all the time. I never had a problem with the fogging that is mentioned in this thread but still am happy to get some new clocks with 00000 k's on them. All I can say to prospective 2nd hand buyers is not to trust the reading on the clocks.
