We had tickets for that round but I missed it 'cos of work. Lisa said that pictured crash happened right in front of the grandstand they were in.

Was a bit of a crash ferst that race, both big crashes had potential to be very nasty.

Moto2 was a good race. GP wasn't so great. Bit disappointed with Simoncelli. I thought he'd done so well to snatch pole but went backwards fast from the start Hope all the flak he's been getting isn't getting to him. Wanna see the wildman on track, not some toned down version. Stoner was on it yesterday and was sliding that Honda all over the place, great victory. Shame the rain didn't arrive as that would have livened that race up in the last 1/3.

I think the other one where Lutti went over the front but hung on for a while had the potential to be much worse.
It seems everyone involved in both crashes walked away, which is nice.

I like how he's already in sprinters take off position ready to start running

Julian Simon has a fractured tibia and fibula which is not quite walking away certainly was fairly lucky though. It looked pretty horrific.

It's a shame MotoGP can only muster 15 bikes on the grid. How come Vale can crash into everyone and get away with it and poor old Curly gets death threats. Looked like he was making sure he didn't collect any more Spaniards on race day.

Kenan was a true pleasure to watch when he came up to supersport he was fast and clean and won with a riding style that favored high speed through the turns. I had no doubt that he was destined for MotoGP greatness. He went up to superbikes and he seemed to get way too aggresive and lost much of what made him fast to begin with. He went back down to sport and was a pleasure to watch again. When entering the Moto2 series he went back to the backing it in and forcing his way through to the point that I thought he may be hangin with Semincelli. I do not appreciate that "racecraft" and feel that it belongs at the club level at best. The race of the weekend for me was the second race of the Daytona Sportbike in Wisconsin on Sunday. Seven guys bar to bar, thirteen laps of pure racing pleasure. I could not help but to root for Alex Espargaro in Moto 2 him and his bro make racing all the better to watch. I for the life of me do not understand why Kenan chose to go the Moto 2 route instead of staying in World Supersport. Mika Kalio and Alex DiAngelis need to step it up a bit.
