I fitted my MotoAirBox this winter also along with the other goodies in the kit. Info On installing the secondary flies. Dont use too much Loctite!!!! It will run down the shaft and lock up the shaft... If you do, and need to know how to fix this PM me. But im not running any secondary flies now... Just forget them and move on would be my preventative advice.
I have the FMF exhaust kit, Arko/KTM map and with the air box its crazy loud under throttle! The intake noise is great! it does have a little "twitter" also that sounds neat. I think its a little louder without the secondaries also, but could be my ears... After the PC3 and dyno tune I'll do a thread with hp numbers and video if I can get one to take.
Just fitted my motobox just now.....took ages, due to a rounded head on the secondary butterfly retaining screws....nightmare!!But happy with the end result!!
Just fitted the motobox, took about 3 hours i recon, secondary butterflies went in no trouble, and i didnt even need the tank brackets i bought from motohooligan. Cheers for the guide bic, printed it in work. Not took it for a ride yet, coz have to be at work in a hour. and then just got to put a map on it
Holy Cow! Just took my first ride this spring and first ride with motobox installed. I had baffles in my akros so I could experience that sweet, awesome sound coming underneath fuel tank.
PCIII still with zero map but bike works like a dream, pulls like a beast through whole rev range, no surging, stalling or anything like that. Just wish there were some more grip but roads are still covered with gravel and dust and temperature just +7C.
Now I'm going to pull those baffles out and wait for my dyno day.
