#14All the conectors on the TB electronics are the same sealed sumitomo conectors that are exposed on the rest of the bike. The TPS, secondary servo ect are potted where the wires enter them so there shouldnt be any problems with them being exposed. 14000 miles on mine so far, but not in the rain forest you guys live in, But I do make sure to keep the exposed likages clean and properly lubed.
BTW France holds a solid second place for motobox sales
