After a few requests I have devised an upper slider that wont break off after a hard down. I have used a 16mm stud thats seated in a counterbore of the aluminium mount to hold the delrin slider and used grade 12.9 hardware to offer a slider that is 3X stronger than whats curently ofered. Check the moto parts sticky for details

That is the thing i was thinking. I thought the other makes were designed to bend/snap at certain loads to save bending the frame?

As always a nice looking bit of kit though dude

Here's a thought for you Aaron and whoever is looking into these thingies.

An engine repair is a helluvalot of money. However, KTM being KTM a frame replacement isn't that dear (was told by the good peeps at KTM Centre that they had a totally smashed up SuperDuke and were tallying up bits for the repair to see if it was a write off, it wasn't. Price included a new frame!).

So, MH sliders; Ultimate engine protection with possible frame damage. R&G are designed to take a good impact and a good slide, but they'll not protect the engine "at any cost".
