#2That is cool.
I rode the new 690 Duke a couple of weeks ago, and, well, no matter what you do to it - it's still a thumper. Not saying it wasn't fun, but the mill is a bit coarse, runs out of wind up top (which isn't very "up" to begin with), and yet it has to be the strongest single out-of-the-box in memory (I have compartmentalized those early 80's Husky 500 2-smoke experiences). It's expensive, and has nothing close to the quality suspension bits that the previous generation Dukes had.
This weekend, it will be the new HyperTard (and SP).
