Lets start the ball rolling to find Mr average SD rider. I want to find the average age/height and weight for Ktm to make our ideal base line bike. I will confess to being just turned 46 and am a tad over 5 feet 7 and a half inches, and am still at my christmas fat weight of just under 12 stone, normally 11 and a half./ So if you wish to submit, and as I started it, all weights must be in Stones and not Kg and height in feet and inches.

#4454 years old (feel 35) 200 lbs don't know what that translates into rocks or stones,plan on shedding 20 or so pounds this spring through summer, as usual,, 6ft tall with a 34 inch inseam, and I still have hair on me head,,,all this should include "inseam" measurments, and who, has the shortest, cuz that could be a problem on a KTM,, so let's update this whole thread

Bit like Dribble says... how long does it take to realise that the SD is a great bike that delivers on the performance of a sports-bike, the versatility of an all rounder, the credibility of an iconic model and the ability to be a hooligan machine if you want to. I've always thought that it would take owning a fair few bikes to realise this but it seems that there are a lot out there who have made the jump without having tried and lived with the other alternatives. This is the kind of information that KTM marketing teams need to see so that they'll take the development of this model seriously and accept that it's not as 'niche' as I suspect they think it is.

Dont' care so much about touching the ground, after being a Motocrosser the last 5yrs, touching the ground is not important.
The SD is my first roadbike: after working in a bike shop for 3yrs, i got to ride lotsa stuff, and only 2 bikes were on my shopping list.

My mates are glad i got the SD, reckon I'm not OLD enuff for a cruiser.
