Still not sure exactly what bike I'm getting next but had a chance to ride a 990SD a Albion in Exeter yesterday.
We were on an escorted group ride which TBH is a bit of a shame. However out of the car park the bike felt nimble yet stable and the trundle through town was perfectly do-able I didn't even notice an jerky throttle until actually thought about it on the way back! but I think I'm one of those riders who just rides round problems rather than realising there a problem!. Unfortunately as soon as the road open so did the heavens and while the rain was quite light it had obviously been hammering down in the last 1o mins as there was running water and debris all over the road. It must be said even in the wet the bike seemed happy enough and the power was really good but as we were on a strict no speeding rule I only got it up to 80MPH . Overall the bike felt good but would need a 'proper' test ride before I could spend that much money.
On the plus side a quick questionnaire for KTM netted me a free Tshirt, mug, pen, poster and other goodies!.
