My Dyno tuning results!

My local tuner(Craig "Huey" Stewart at Marietta Motorsports) tossed in a PCIII on the Super Duke and then spent a couple hours tuning a custom twin cylinder advanced map for my KTM.

Bike now puts down 115HP at the wheel, up from 103HP in stock form. Below is a chart of 4 dyno runs:



Blue is bone stock bike
Green is Leo Vince slipons and a map loaded into the ECU from the KTM dealer
Purple is the same as green, but with the secondary butterflies removed
Red is the final run with the Power Commander, Leo Pipes, flies removed and custom map

So for about $1200(pipe, PCIII and Dyno time) we have a 12HP increase(roughly 8% increase over stock) in power, more torque, and the throttle response is explosive. Just hit the gas and the thing just goes ape. Nothing smooth and subtle about it, it finally lives up to the image that KTM markets it as, a brute of a streetfighter, raw, etc...

Got on the rear wheel on my 07 SDR (so motor same as standard SD) . Only mod, besides the PCIII of course, is Akras WITH baffles in

But +12hp is great

Put my 06 990SD on Jordans of leeds Dyno last weekend and got 115.3 BHP, the bike has Akro's on and the corresponding TuneBoy map. My mate put his SD on also and he got 106 BHP, he has wings exhausts and the KTM aKro map loaded. They also put an RC8 on that was pumping out 144 BHP awsome

my two babies on the same dyno:
08 RC8: 143 bwhp (stock except for pc3)
08 SDR: 130 bwhp (akra's without baffles, modified air intake, pc3)
