My new wheels...

After one of the lads bought my 06 Superduke off me Saturday i was bloody depressed watching (and listening!) to him driving off. The plan was to head to England to find an "R" model. Then in a fit of pure laziness i went to Cork instead and bought this. Akras sound savage on it and the little fly screen is surprisingly affective. The '08 has a lot of differences from the '06, actually surprised me how many. Back shock needs setting up though the forks seem fine. The 06 seemed to have handled a bit better but thats just because I has the suspension set up for myself. Chuffed though






Have to dump that big ugly number plate hanger if any body has a tail tidy for sale!

Best of luck with the new wheels Jay. Mind the Gardaí don't see you with your licence plate like that though, they might get the wrong impression .

Clean ride...congratulations. It is surprising how much that small screen helps to deflect the wind.

Cheers lads! Ya must just set up the rear shock she seems a lot more "weavy" than the 06. Bit friskier too seems like it needs the LSL damper (already on it). Must check now and see if it has the 16t front sprocket but i'd say not. Akras sound fab too!!

mines got the screen too - i keep it on --- keeps wind off the body from shoulders down - gota be more streamlined than the body ....

i think you've confirmed my suspicions that the springs in my forks are too stiff ..... guess i should service front finally anyway and swap out the springs.
