I just feel a naked 1098 would make me much more attractive to the loose women everywhere.

Of course, if you arent interested in the opposite sex......................
My Super Duke is a Super Dooper Duke!
And what Big Toby D, said goes for me too!
I've got fueling issues...I can never buy enough fuel to keep me riding long enough!!!

SUPERDUKES ROCK

My SDR is still the best bike I have ever owned... Bar none.

Ducati lost a good customer
mine is just perfect! she's what puts a big smile on my face after a hard week at work...
I waited almost a month before selling my VFR 750, just in case I would regreat such a radical bike.

Well, a friend of mine already has the vfr so you know what that means

Best. Bike. Ever.

If you want brownie-points service & a hand to hold, call Honda.

We've all got to remember, dealers are in the biz to SELL BIKES, not service them or make you love KTM (or whatever brand they are pushing). Service is something they have to do, and once they have your $$, 95% of them could give a rat's @ss what you think. KTM has always been a serious racing/off road bike company, and expects it's owners will do a certain amount of DIY maintenance. KTM isn't going to roll out the BMW/Porsche/M-B/Cadillac-style " service maitre d' " and give you a loaner while some white-glove guy cleans the windshield. There are good & bad dealers, just like there are good & bad customers - which are you?
With all it's imperfections, the SD is more fun, more capable, and more forgiving than any other bike available. There are faster track bikes, faster (and cheaper) sport bikes, and prettier ones. This KTM has soul, guts, the best components on a stock bike, and incredible real-life (usable) power. What's not to love?
Grendel doesn't take the time to praise or slag. He just rides.

On my second SD, had an 06 for 14 months & upgraded to the 07 in April. The fact I bought 2 of the same model says it all - I have never done that before.

Main issues with the 06 were range, and fuelling. Have seen 132 miles and no fuel warning light on the 07!! With the Akra Evo's off the 06 it has run flawlessly. Still have a PCIII from the 06 but haven't bothered to fit it yet.

The Superduke is a fantastic bike which gives you a buzz that Jap 1000's can't get close to.

Roll on the 09 version.

Hey Gents, joe has nothing to add to the eloquence that the authors have retained in thare text above...... other than, I concur the bike is simply stellar.

You may dream of a better bike than mine but chances are you would only be dreaming, those of us that are lucky enough to be a part of this KTM

street movement are some fortunate people, only cos it is THE ONE if not THE ONLY best bike choices out thare today,

the only bike that has the ability to make me feel 20 years younger with each twist of my wrist. (may need botox after all the hours of constant smiles!)

Funny mine's never been to the dealer. It spent some time there new, but it's never been back. I must have one of the good one's a guess.

I got on a 749S on Sunday and I wanted to shoot myself after 10mins. It was cramped, and a bit like an inline 4, I waited and waited for the power to kick in, by the time it did I'd run out of road. Punch the SD at any speed and it's gone. One of the flattest torque curves I've ever ridden. BEST BIKE EVER!
