Finished my map of at Projex today, we were going to map each cylinder individully but the gas analysers didn't fit, and didn't really want to drill holes in my headers.

We ended up with 116.66 BHP and 71.49 ft/lb of torque (get a few more if was cooler was very hot in dyno room today) compared to the 105BHP i had previous (Stock airbox, no ignition advance, PC3 Map)

I'll get the map sent over to the Colonel as soon as i download it of my bike.

Kev at Projex likes what TuneECU can do, just wishes it was a bit easier to map with.

Any way very happy with a 11BHP gain.
Another top job by Kev then

It will be interesting to see what hes done with the ignition
Thanks mate... Champion

That's an awesome HP gain. Congrats. One day I will get the SDR tuned using a dyno. It has the tuneECU but I didn't install it so I have no idea how it works.
The vast majority of that 11hp came from the Motobox.

Just sayin...
Fuel's map is now added to the .hex maps in the PCIII and TuneECU maps thread. Thanks for sharing dude
It went from 106 to 112 with the motobox, and a bit of fueling adjustment, rest came from ignition advance.

Worth pointing out the stock AF ratio. Rich.

So, if you install Motobox, no need to fear running the stock map until you get around to custom mapping.

My concern is with Australian summers.. As this was mapped at roughly 20 degrees.. Which is a cold day for me. On a hot day, over twice that there is a possibility of detonation. Normally a couple of degrees advance is ok but there is spots where there is almost 5 degrees. I wander what safety factor was run? At 4g it looks like it could cope with more fuel... More because that is a common commuting rpm.

Runnin a lil lean can be coped with, but too much advance kills engines. I will try running this map on a dyno over here. Maybe the advance can be kept if the mixture is a bit ritcher to keep the cylinder and valves cooler.

But thankyou fuel for sharing... Shows that there is still some serious hp to be gained from timing

I really am looking toward to having a go of this map... do you use 98ron fuel? I look toward to hearing about the inputs from your dyno guy
95 ron our local BP has stopped selling 98 since petrol went up so much! Fuel in the UK is very good though especially the major brands.
If u can get that out of 95 then I should be ok with 98 even with the heat.. Although I will richen it up a touch round 4000 rpm

Tks Colonel, very kind!

Sls.
Fuel on the advice of MrZ32 I have added a warning to the map download for your bike. He says there is up to 10 degrees of advance in places and this has the potential to be very bad for others bikes. Just so you know why I added it the warning if you see it.
