If that gap is for real it would also be called a nut toaster! I think it looks alright overall at a glance but when you really look it over it just doesn't look right.

Build it they will come.

If it comes to fruistion it will be stunning. I don't care what anyones says the 1098 is the best Superbike out there right now and if they make a naked the competition are dead in the water.


Has anyone seen the Rizoma transparent belt cover, a work of art! Over $500 but a must have piece... STUNNING.

Not sure about that. They fooked up the Hyperturd with a shite riding position and gutless engine, and this looks ovrdesigned and with more gimicks and breakable bits than any kind of clever engineering design.

The old adage - what looks right, is right - that makes Spitfires, Jaguar E-types, 68 Ford Mustangs - and of course the Superduke - look beautiful by accident, "just because form follows function" don't seem to apply here.

Ducati lost that after the 998.

I'll wait to see it in the flesh, but I'm pretty cynical... Anyway, it's just like a red Tuono isn't it?

...and as for using the exhaust as the hottest and most expensive subframe on Earth, well, let's see what a great idea THAT turns out to be. LOL

As a good friend pointed out to me when I was trying to decide between the Superdick and the Brutale, MV's are made in Italy. Italian bikes will let you down.

I had my duc 916 (1997 model - pre USA ownership) for 9 years, it did 15000miles, some road and a hell of a lot of track days in my early years of ownership when i was really into them (and i do mean alot, minimum of 2 per summer month!) and in all that time the only thing that went wrong with the bike was the regulator!!!!

So far ive had my SD since april and its spent 6 weeks off the road due to faults and waiting for dealers!!!

As with all bikes, if you get a good`un your lucky, if you end up with a friday afternoon special then your fooked!!!

Now with a little fettling to the bellypan on that bike i would seriously consider it!!!

Now the 1 thing i dont understand with manufacturers when it comes to nakeds, why base a naked on a sportsbike then go and `tune` the engine for more midrange??? Hell id love a proper naked with 150-160BHP, i dont care if i get blown off the damn thing at 155mph, just give me horse power and let me be the judge of how much is too much and how i choose to use it!?!?!

Am i the only 1 here who would truly love my SD to have the full 1190 engine out of an RC8 along with all its HP?
