Neat rego label solution anyone?

Does anyone have a neat place to put/display their rego label.

I've run rego tubes before. They look ok, but was wondering if anyone has come up with a tidy place and way to keep the authorities happy.

Mines just stored under my seat at the moment. But that could get me a fine if I leave it there.

If you have any photos that would be even better. I prefer looking at pictures....

By law (in NSW) the rego label has to be displayed next to the number plate.

Mine is mounted on the left side of my front guard in a regular rectangular holder. No problems with it there so far. I believe in QLD it had to be on the left or the rear of the bike.

I'm guessing that the rego label is like our (UK) tax disc?

The places I've seen ours put are normally on the front fender side attachment or the chain guard attachment by the shock (laid flat on the swingarm)

You're right jambox. We have a rectangular label that must be displayed to show that the bike is registered.

I've usually put mine in a rego tube and attached it to the bottom of the number plate.

I don't know about the other states, but in Queensland rego tubes are illegal, but quite common.

I saw on another forum that Queensland authorities didn't like them.

In Canberra the back of my rego form just says:
"Where to place the label....on or adjacent to the vehicle's rear number plate in a special holder provided by you"

Wonder if I got pulled over interstate, I could get booked for using the rego tube

Don't know what state you are in but some states no longer require them to be displayed In those states you just need the receipt in your toolbox Etc.

If you are not in one of those states I used to just use clear laminate (book covering material) to make a sticky patch that I'd put the label on then stick the whole lot onto my swingarm. Very neat and they stay on for years hence the row of three I have on one of my bikes. If they hadn't changed the law here in Sunny South Oz i'd have just moved onto the other side of the swingarm after a while. The're easy to remove - just peel off.
I've had quite a few cops say "Umm never seen anything like that before - do they come off?" Seems a strange question when there are three of four lined up

i laminate mine and zip tie it to my fork leg, taking care to have it turned towards the back of the fork so as to not show the rego number to forward facing speed cameras

This has surely got to be one of the first times that WA is ahead of the rest of the country. We have not required one for at least the last two years. Like the Blues Brothers, our coppers have SCMARTS.
