I've got the 37mm risers and yes they're LSL.
Seem pretty well made to me, fitted in the standard clamps like a glove !

Straight bars just don't look right to me. The SF bar feels great and is considerably lower than stock, though still not as low as a clip-on clearly.

#13When you say they make a huge difference on the track what do you mean? I plan on running my SD this year on the track. Last year I ran my ducati monster on the track but realised it wasn't really set up for that kind of riding so I bought a couple Jap bikes that I've been tracking.

A small clearance issue which required me to back out the steering stops by about 2-3mm. No big deal at all. I rotate the bar so that it's in a natural position (for me, anyway) and then adjusted the stops so that the controls don't hit the tank.

Took quite a while though as the alloy is really thick and my pipe cutter a bit old and used for cutting down many a cro-moly seat post, tighten it up regularly for best results, will try and write something up tomorrow for fitting them.

#42This is where a pipe cutter comes in handy, it may be quicker actually to get a nice cut started with the pipe cutter and then use a hacksaw as the cut will then guide the hacksaw, pipe cutters aren't really designed for such thick walled tubing but I made it work none the less, with a bit of sweat

These are stainless steel, heavier than stock . Nice welds on mine. The '08 SDR has 8mmX 30mm bolts threaded into the steering stops. I cut down a couple of 40 mm to 35 long to keep from pinching paws against the gas tank. You loose a bit of steering lock. I Don't care, It's a track bike. YMMV
They place your hands a bit forward, aprox. 2 3/4 " lower. They are welded up flat, so in order to get 'em rolled down you give up a bit of back.
IMO-you want some down.
Life is good. I ordered these pups on Monday and they where waiting when I got off work today.
