New Italian Mirrors

Similar shape to a Rizoma Radial Naked. Thicker body than the Rizomas, and not quite the quality, but half the price. Came in quickly, arrived today, 4 days after I placed my order.

Installed them tonight, or at least the left one. The mounting bolt is a couple of millimeters too long on the right, the mirror mount on that side also is the clamp for the master cylinder and not as deep as the left side, will have to pick up a shorter bolt tomorrow.

Here's a pic in the garage, they don't stick out as much as the stock ones, but adjust well, the sloping underside lines up nicely with my arm and gives a good field of view. They have a matte black finish that matches the tank perfectly, think they'll work well and definitely look a lot better. The only thing I don't like is that they have black print embossed on the bottom edge of the mirror glass, but it's pretty much the area where you look at your jacket sleeve so not too big a deal.

I'll stick with my single CRG bar-end mirror. They look sharp though.

I find bar end mirrors hard to use with my progressive lenses. I believe in having the best possible field of vision and handlebar mount mirrors provide that for me. Will have to see if I like these when I have chance to ride and check them out, definitely an improvement in the looks category though.

Dampen a rag with lacquer thinner and carefully rub just the glass. It will take the lettering right off.
You could take the bolt to a bench grinder and remove a couple mm from the end of it.
