Hi all
As a long-time Ducati owner I already have a well established carbon addiction so I gotta score some with my new SD
Question is, what to get
I'll get a discount on genuine KTM carbon that I buy with the bike, but I reckon some non-KTM stuff is better maybe
Here are my thoughts on what I'm gonna get ... what do you reckon
Genuine KTM
1. seat cowl
2. air box covers
3. front mudguard
4. sprocket cover
5. belly pan
Thoughts on non-KTM stuff
1. TwinShack carbon hugger because it protects the shock better than the genuine KTM one (is the quality of the carbon as good though?)
2. Rizoma billet aluminium engine (clutch and ignition) covers instead of the tacky genuine KTM carbon ones - I haven't seen them either in the flesh tho so the question is 'how do they look'? I've also thought about the genuine KTM CNC full clutch cover as an option - what do people reckon?
3. I have also thought about getting the genuine KTM carbon heel plates, but if I go the same way as I have with my Ducati I will end-up putting adjustable reaer=sets on in which case I will need different heel-plates anyway. The Rizoma ones from TwinShack look nice
All comments welcome
