I'll bet FMFs are 8-10mm shorter than your shortened 2Bros.

I see what reguard you have for your stock exhaust. Someone needs to start a business of cutting stock mufflers open, guttting them, and putting them back together.

Here are mine I just did. 45mm shorter.

Went for a blast today to test them out. Fitted motohooligan box over Christmas and induction noise confuses accurate report on the extra loudness of the silencers. The whole package is not so much LOUDER but it is AWESOME. At tickover at traffic lights it's definitely a deeper, louder sound but I think some of that is down to the change to carbon from titanium.

Went past quite a few police cars at high revs in low gears and didn't get pulled so that's a good sign. Mind you, in London police don't seem to be interested in doing anything anyway.

Robbo, the best place to see Motobox pictures is on the document I made for Motohooligan fitting instructions. See the stickies at the top of the "How to" section.

I love my Akras this new length, I think that this is the way that they should have been made in the first place - they fit the bike better. I'm pretty sure that when Arkapovich set about making a bespoke set of silencers for a new model bike they first look to the stock parts they have. So, OK they have to make a 'Y' piece that fits the KTM pipes, (or the whole system which is a different matter), but I think they probably have these silencers already made and select them for the bike.

Mine are not really that much noisier, not that I can tell. Only different because they are carbon sleeved so a bit deeper maybe.
