I am getting some new stuff for the bike for the summer and would like recommendations if anyone has any good or bad experiences with the following kit.

Sat nav (euro maps)
Gear indicator
slipper clutch
new mirrors
rad guard

In my opinion new mirrors will give you a nicer looking SD...Look at some bar end style

Aaaah.

Actually I have the same problem on relaxed motorway riding. Never a problem in normal roads or track but in cruising mode I am often trying to shift up another gear only to find that I'm already in top gear. It would indeed be handy to just have a little light that told you that you were in 5th.

As for mirrors...I use CRG bar end, they are very good quality. Kind of $$$$$$ but good

I am not sure about bar end - does it make it a lot wider - I normally come round the corner, up the road,into the yard and through the 900mm garage door without using the brakes and still in 3rd .............it saves fuel apparently

edit: Well I think its 3rd.
