Just picked up my new 08 SD (in black) and have to say (after one short ride to the Rock Store), this bike and I are going to get along fine! It handles exceptionaly well, goes like stink comming out of corners and makes me feel as if I'm riding my YZ450F on the street with about twice the HP. Too much fun! I've owned just about everything worth owning in the two wheel world and this is hands down the funnest bike yet. Pretty sure it'll smoke any litre bike in the tight to medium stuff that we have here in So Cal.
Looking forward to getting advice from you guys on emissions removal, SAS removal, 2nd / 3rd gear derestriction? etc.
Got the GB racing protection kit, Leo Vince pipes, Cox racing rad guard and a few other items on the way already. Let me know of any suggestions you guys have for modifications to help with performance or handling.
