Just been reading the comic, the new Tuono seems to be quite a bike! For myself, I think I will wait for the 1200 Superduke, but seems very tempting though. What do we all think?

#2I'll have a test ride for sure!
But it's too ugly to own though..

#3Looks like an RSV 4 with missing fairing lowers and a handlebar. I prefer to ride a naked that's designed to be naked, but that's just my take on bikes. I also prefer the Street Triple to the S1000RR, so there ya go.
I'd like a go on one though.

#4I say go for a ride on your SD to clear your head of those fugly thoughts.
I wouldn't mind a bash on one but think I would gladly give the keys back.

#6Exactly. I'd rather have the full on sports package. This is not a big enough departure from that to make it attractive. Sure it will out perform the SD but that's not the point is it?

#7167bhp is a nice number. Good for pub bragging. Plenty of time for pub bragging whilst your Aprilia is off the road waiting for parts.
Of course you would need a neck like Mike Tyson to use 167bhp on a naked bike. The Tuono has a certain resemblance to him too; black, squat, menacing, fuggin ugly. The sort of bike to lure your Superduke into a hotel room and rape its arse.
I will go and get a test ride but I cant imagine I would think it a better track bike than the RSV4. Or a better road bike than the SD. The best thing about it is that it should push KTM to make a better 1200 SD, eventually, some time in the future, dont hold your breath.
Of course if Freestyler manages to overtake anyone on his, or avoid being lapped by Millar's missus I will take it all back. The Tuono is best thing ever, where do I sign?

#8That styling looks older than the 05 SD! Not the sort of bike i would buy just based on looks alone.
Have we got any weight figures? I'll be amazed if its under 200kg fuelled. Agree with whats been said about it being a sportsbike with bars and no fairing....not nice at all. Hideous frame and colour choices...i bloody loathe metallic colours. *boke*
