Nice full SD system (FRESCO)

Just saw a post on the RC8 section about FRESCO exhausts, and they do a lovely exhaust system for the SD.

Not convinced about the exhausts, but headers look mint would look awesome in ti

Not had a good read of it yet, but would be interesting to see if they do the headers only...

I only know of remus that do a full system for the SD apart from Akrapovic obviously.

Asked for some quotes for full system in ti and stainless, and headers only in ti and stainless if they fit OEM exhausts.

Just done some searching (befor Bert beats me to it), dont think anyone has bought the headers on here, but someone bought the cans:

This the communication between me and fresco representative....collector seems to be exhaust headers so the prices are

430 euro
560euro for stainless steel

.......................................................................................
So if I understand you want the collector.
What you need is the collector? or the complete line?
The collector in fresco costing € 430 and € 560 stainless steel titanium excluding postage. Then if you need the complete line simply add the desired price exhausts. Follow this link to see the models available.

Thank you for your quick response.i am wondering if you sell the exhaust headers NOT just the muffler.More specifically the exhaust part that starts from the engine until the link pipe.I hope that you are going to understand now.

Hello,

There is no problem to deliver in Greece but I do not understand what you want as a piece!
What do you mean by headers spare? Exhaust? a fork head?
Thank you for making your application differently because google translation does not allow me to understand.
Thank you for your understanding.

not sure what the advantage to having segments of flat pipe welded together to make a curve. youd think the flats would disturb flow.
i know they use them in Moto GP so there must be a reason...

I decided already that if i am going to go for headers i will definitely buy the akrapovic's r type as think about it what would be the difference between the stock and remus or fresco? At the very end the best are the evo's but i love my leovince so only akrapovic's r (more or less the same price as fresco and remus as you can find it used at around 500 euros something)

cheers

p.s i only posted the fresco's answer as a contribution to the topic

The SDR headers at both longer and wider than the EVO's.
this I'm told is for the extra revs the SDR has and so is able to move and flatten the torque curve up the rev scale.
My SDR has less mid range than the 06 but more HP and a very linear power delivery.
SDR headers may just move the power out of a useable range for the standard model.
This effect is seen greatly on Harley V twins when people get the ported and polished, allowing more flow. This moves the power out of the usable rev range of the motor and they get little if any benefit.
I'd be interested to find out if you do decide on them.
