Bad news.

I' have just enquired with Fowlers about changing my Superduke for an SD-R and apparently they don't have any and neither do KTM UK, he said they aren't making any more

So what do I do now? I have asked for them to look for a nearly new one but I could easily end up with a Tuono....

I am now in the process of searching, Tuono is out as too expensive. I've found a bargain and the enquiry is under investigation

Fingers crossed....

There are a few in dealers but no more can be obtained from KTM apparently.

Its ok Mike don't worry! Its a Superduke R or nothing. But probably nothing the way its going Anyway its not like I don't already have an amazing hooligan bike is it?

I don't want to leave the fold honestly. How I could turn up to the crashfest on a Tuono I don't know....
I certainly hope there's a nice 08 SDR for sale in a few months or my dream is ruined

They're out there, you just have to apply yourself to looking, and within 14 days a good one or two will surface... It's not quite buying and selling season at the moment, but bikes are changing hands.

When the new SD1200 comes out you can have one of ours. LOL.

Meanwhile, you could just spend loads on your SD. It's already a great bike, and most of the extra 10-15bhp on the SDR are made by rpm. If you like the single seat that's about £400, and full Ti systems turn up at around a grand...

Klincky's 06 SD makes 130bhp (same as my tuned SDR) at the wheel with just the usual mods.

i was told by route 55 , when they were open , that the SDR i had ordered was the only one they were getting this year , so KTM were limiting supply
Just purchased an SDR on friday.(Dealer had 3off.)

Bought on PCP(Do what I want.As long as it is Standard on return. Unless I want to actually buy it. ))

So anyways dealer had 2 left.

Duke3Rs are even rarer. HeeHaw left on the forecourts. And none for next year

Grab em. While you can.

Or you may be enticed by a load of Traction/wheelie control/HP/Bollocks?
^^^ Where about's are you? Scotlands a big ol' place.

Probably nothing. I've been off work for 5 months and am expecting another 6 weeks off work. I'm selling both enduros and my SDR but keeping my scooter and my 05 SD simply because I don't have the heart to sell it. I can't afford to crash, work wanted me classed disabled before I even went for spinal surgery and the last thing I need when returning to work is a motorbike crash. So My 2008 SDR is up for sale once I've got everything back to standard as are my 2002 450 EXC and my 2007/8 450 EXC-R (new type) ...
