#9I lost mine for 12 mnths back when I was 19 for doing more than 30 above posted limit (120 in a 60) nin Vic, 3 months isnt so bad. I feel for you mate.
Its only NSW and Vic that suspend licenses for 30 over. In QLD its "just" an obscene fine.
+1 on all the above, and see if you can get a restricted license for work travel etc as Rosco mentioned. I know a few people that have gotten one and not necc' couriers etc. Just prove that public transport is inadequate and you have no other means to income. Talk to a lawyer

#14My mate in OZ said he got hit harder last time he was caught because it was a bank holiday or something and thats a zero tolerance period ???? is this true do they hit you harder if its a holiday ???

#20i got pulled for doing 115mph in a 65mph. $285 fine was the penalty. frankly i deserved that one, i was behaving like an ass.
