Ohlins steering damper on 1290R

Has anyone fitted an Ohlins steering damper to their SDR yet? I find the standard one much to soft, getting floating under hard acceleration, and had a couple of head shakes when putting the front wheel back on the Tarmac at 200+ kph.

Always had ohlins on all my bikes, and have pulled the one of my RC8 for test figment, but mounts are no where near. Is there a genuine mount or will I be forced to have something made?

I am reluctant to buy the genuine WP upgrade out of the power parts catalogue, as Ohlins is far and above the preference. Any ideas much appreciated.
I'd get on to Scotts to see if they have a kit coming out.
I don't see why the adjustable WP damper wouldn't provide you with the setting you were after.
