Oil tank and Crank Case Breathers.

As i'm zeroing in on re-assembly for the Hooligan Box as i looked at the crank case breathers exiting into the oil tank it occured to me wouldn't it be better to just put filtered breathers ( the little round ones ) on the valve cover where the two rubber tubes come out instead of routing crank case emissions back into the Oil ( oil tank ) ???
