ouch indeed... never seen insurance company hack out the headstock like that

i do seem to remember someone mentioning wanting custom-made orange "990" decal on their black bike... well, whoever you are, hope you are OK.

The bike wouldn't even look too bad, not that much damage - aside from front wheel and forks & right side pipe - if it wasn't for the chopped frame, but that's not the result of the crash...

Hope the rider is OK.....

It looks like the front was cut off by a tool, not by the accident itselt.

Anyone reckon the front wheel could be straightened?

I am always looking for a spare set for trackdays but I think that one is a bit too far gone.

I have known insurance companies stamping XXXXX's over frame numbers. The rumour is that unscrupulous repairers weld over this then restamp numbers. So maybe this is what they do to ensure it cant go back on the road.

The guy is off his head is he thinks the remains are worth 2 grand though.

yep, the frame plugs and the adjusters from Ian Young are red not orange, wonder if he will make it right?

joe can not decide betwinst the orange rear panels and the black... Humm...

has joe considered a black number plate style decal on back would have orange on outside and flat black dominant from side ,when pumpkin is in missile mode would look black at stopped well you get the idea somtin different or just join the rest of the cool kids and go all black

Now you got me thinking as well Joe... I was fitting my new super horny sexy levers last night (not pictured here) after having quite a few beers and started thinking about doing my subframe, heel guards and swingarm and possibly hangers in black as well.
Damn you Joe, now I gotta do more stuff to my bike!!

joe are you still doing the exhaust black cause it would look pretty crisp on da pumpkin ,what about the lower edge of tail section black and middle small section on head light ,would change the look a bit without loosing ones orangeness I like to use decal plastic cause if you change your mind you peel it off a couple months later or just to change it up a bit ,my black bike is slowly gaining orange and your feeling the power of the darkside (insert evil laugh like austin powers mastermind ) to tweek the look leave it or change it is joes choice
