So I'll start;
2004, I'm begging my Dad to let me ride his bike (02 VFR v-tec), and he finally relents.
"My beloved son, here are the keys, there's the track. I know you've never ridden a bike before. Don't survive if you crash my bike. Have fun".
5 laps later I hit the v-tec for the first time, and head towards a 90deg right-hander at what feels like triple my previous speeds...
So naturally I grab a full four fingers on the front brake with the strength of a woman giving childbirth, and for some stupid-ass reason I actually remember the linked brakes and stamp on the back too.
I sailed gracefully over the handlebars while the bike did an equally graceful cartwheel behind me. The head marshall was behind me at the time, and says the bike actually did a 360 in the air and landed back on it's wheels (explains the popped fork seal), wobbling a bit and then flopping onto it's left-hand side.
Mild concussion, dislocated left shoulder and broken right foot.
All in all, must've been hilarious and I've only finished paying off my Dad 2 months ago.
Not too bad considering what the marshall explained to us happened!
PS: Didn't like the bike anyway...
