Just for those magazines who say that the SD a weekend toy, how about; Take 1 2007 SD (me), 1 Speed Triple, zoom from Suffolk to Germany, Baveria, Austria, Mugello MotoGP then trundle home via French Alps in 8 days (7 riding). 2650 miles at a steady 100 - 110 mph where possible apart from the Alpy bits, and I don't need reconstructive surgury on my arse! I've just got to clean the thing now.
