Hello all, not been on here in a while due to having to sell my sd last summer due to financial reasons.

Any way thinking about buying another Sd or sdr and considering my options, I have read many threads however I am wondering how well a pc3 and custom map would work with the standard cans? Not bothered about extra power so much more bothered about smoother delivery as I am thinking about getting an 07,08 sdr.
This worked for me, figured pc3 would buy more power than exhausts for £200. It smoothed things out lovely. Didn't need a custom map, there was a map on the dynojet site that sorted it right out.

Only problem is once you start modding?......££££££££ As soon as I could afford it I added the exhausts etc.

Worth doing IMO.
Just order a TuneECU cable and load in a better map. Much cheaper and more possibilities.
Yep if you get TuneECU you can even nick all the free to download dynojet maps for std cans as a starting point and convert them for tuneecu
Thanks for replies, Tune ecu cable? sounds interesting not heard of one before is it as simple as a usb lead that plugs straight into your ecu?

Also been reading up can,t believe the sdr doe'snt have a slipper clutch always thought it did, can some one confirm that an 07, 08 sdr has a steering damper as standard and if there are any differences between the 07 sdr and the 08 sdr they both the ones with the black (with orange decals) body work and orange frame right?
