People sitting on your bike, WTF.

Yesterday when I was leaving work I found a tear in the seat of my THREE WEEKS OLD SD. It's parked in the garage at work. The parking ticket which was on the seat was missing so I believe someone had been sitting on it and made the tear. (I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but hey..)

Anyone have any idea how to fix? I don't want to just patch some mismatch patch on it. Do I need to buy a new seat?

Bike seats are made to be sat on ... often at extreme speeds and on the lean, and they shoudl survive that kinda use for years... it should also be able to take the occassional extra ass.

If it's ripped, I reckon someone probably ripped it on purpose. You might wanna keep an eye on it for other acts of vandalism. Is there anyone at work you've upset?

damn... people sitting on my bike is a big nono, that alone would piss me off. Let alone damaging the bloody thing....
