#2Agreed that they look stunning. I just don't get the point of owning both the SD AND SM(R), they seem too similar to be justified. Or am I way off?

It'd be a tough thing to hand over the SD though
From what I've read the downsides of the SM 950 could be:
Not as powerful
Not as suitable for longer journeys (wind protection)

The SD is staying i have to agree with you lot that the SMR is just too close to the SD to be worth £ spending that much money purely for looks and aesthetics.
So it stays and we're happy
