I just wanted to post a few shots of our SDR. The only hard parts was fitting the RC8 rear Marchesini Magnesium wheel. Every thing eles fit great.

#9Thanks for the input. The rear brake disc is still on its way. The RC8 wheel has a smaller bolt pattern and the SDR has a larger OD. We are still in the mock up stage. As for the color of the wheels its still up in the air . The rear wheel is a 6'' now not a 5.5'' as is stock. Yes the rear sets have been changed. As for changing a new bike ,, we all like to make our bike our bike.

If so, it is greatly appreciated and most eagerly anticipated, the wheels mirrors rearsets and rear brake will work just fine...

#28We are still waiting for EBC to ship the rear disc. Yes there was some clearance issues with the RC8 wheel. The total hub width was 25mm wider. We took 11mm from the chain side and 14mm from the disc side. We also had to machine the sprocket carrier and the caliper bracket. But now we have a 6 inch rim and a 190 rear tyre. Other than the color (some people don't like it ) I think it turned out great.
We did not cut the rim on the sprocket side, we only took the carrier down. (we used the SDR carrier not the RC8) New spacers where made to keep the chain in line and the bearings where reset in the carrier 5 mm deeper.
On the brake side we cut the rim and the caliper carrier. ( we used the SDR spacer on the brake side, took 4mm off the brake caliper mount and 10mm on the wheel. On the SDR rim the seal is flush on the brake side. The RC8 rim has the seal set back 10mm.
The rim is offset by 1.5 mm . We really tired to get it dead center with the stock rim but we are off by 1.5mm. I did not want to get any closer to the swingarm on the chain side with the rear sprocket and carrier. I don't think that little bit will make any noticable differnce.
