Perfect place to use home made stuff : Home.
That is what I use.
A 2 x 6 x 24 for under the tyre, and a 2x2 x 6 under one side to ramp it up for a kiss.
Set it up when you take the tyre off and don't move it so it will be in place for re-install
See if your gal will help out with the axle.
