pm's not being sent

I've heard that I'm not the only member who has emails that are stuck in the outbox without being sent to the recipient. I'd be happy to send a pm to an administrator about this, but it won't reach him, so I'm asking here whether this can be mended. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Lowrance, replied back. Yours didn't take too long, but I had a couple in my outbox for about two weeks and I finally deleted them as they were no longer relevant.
