So my bike currently has the SAS fitted and popped and banged on the overrun. I fitted the SAS resistor yesterday but did not remove the SAS and now it sounds like a busy night in Tripoli on the overrun, with louds pops, bangs like a b'stard and lots of flames, I love it! The bike will head off soon for mapping, SAS removal, DNA box fitting but in the meantime is this doing the bike any damage? Its always funny here in central london scaring pedestrians...
Make sure you have no small air leak in your exhaust around the clamps
Its the SAS system that has been unplugged but its all still connected, thats where the air is going in, I just want to check its not damaging thats all, can't see why it would be really. It sounds awsome
You got a YouTube of this - particularly the "flames" bit?
I'll try to get a vid for you next week if you like. Nice big pops of blue flame...
My 05 used to do that with round Akras. The 07 with Akra Evo's never has. I really miss it I will never forget a mate on a Tuono Fighter chasing me, and failing to keep up, across Romney Marsh one night; all he could talk about was the blue flames leaping out my exhausts.
