#11While riding GMR this weekend I had the rear brake loose for a split second while on a turn, but can't remember if it was left or right. This seems to tell me it was most likely a right hander...
Does this mean I'm riding too hard?

#13I've just recently started working on my form, as last weekend was the first time I touched down...
It only seems to happen on the left peg. To answer your question, the tip of my boot is on the peg, and yup it scared me when it happened.
The Clutch cover is what looks to scrape before the peg on the right side.
I'm working on a Video of GMR, is there a trick to embed the file on this site (u tube)...

#14I know others have touched with a clutch cover but thats on a track, your getting over pretty far to do that, maybe look at your suspension setup because from what I saw from at least the rider in front, its just not that far, didnt watch the whole thing though. As for the peg touching its easy, get rearsets

#16Didnt see the tyre pick, dosent look like your running off like crazy or anything... I would deff have your suspen. setup looked at. The clutch cover you can see there's an intial upward hit then the brief horizontal scrape... Your suspension really might be a big part of this. I know others have hit but it seems your just not at that point in the VID at least for the clutch cover.

#17As much as I hate to admit it the upward hit was from a tip over that happened while sitting still in uneven ground. Two days before installing my sliders....
I did a few other runs there in both directions, the flick is only one of them.

#21Yeah, definitely get your suspension looked at, shouldn't be getting the clutch cover down.
Pegs can still touch down though, if you find that's still an issue after getting your suspension sorted the either get rearsets or get some of the cycle control rearset plates to mount your existing ones further up and back.
Here's a pic from their website, I'm using these and they do the trick for me, a nice budget alternative to rearsets

To start with if you can't get to a suspension professional then you could just reset the suspension as per the settings under the seat and in the manual for sports or std and see how you get on.
