The two flags represents my family; St Andrew's Cross being my home country and the Stars & Stripes being my wife, both flags zippered together to represent our union.

Hook 'Em, Horns
Image

I wear the top two, Shoei RF1100 (you call it XR?? in europe I think) and Suomy Spec 1R...

The Shoei RF1000 below saved my life, it still has my dried blood and dirt on it

The carbon fiber at the bottom also took a crash but not a direct impact... its retired as well!

Colin Edwards rep Arai Corsair RX7 the helmet of Gladiators:

Image
AGV stealth. Good fit but a bit of wind noise. Very well ventilated, a bit too well for winter.

Image
Love all the special paint jobs...

Mine came just right, straight outta the box...

Image

Also have a XR1100 - which is the comfiest, best quality, quietest, cleverest lid ever... but not as pretty as the Bell.

Image

Great for winter though... Might get it painted to match the Belle.

Image

Then it decided to eat tarmac

Image

Image

But mr Arai fixed it up good as new

Image

My main lid - Shark RSR2, best lid ive ever had for build quality, fit, wind noise, comfort etc (and ive had a few Arai Rx7`s etc but this beats it hands down!) and also has obligatory SD.net decal

Image

Winter road lid, extremly light, no leaks, doesnt mist and air tight so reasonably warm -

Image

My fave lid - Simpson sidewinder, absolutly useless, noisy as fcuk, cant see a thing out of it but custom painted by Piers Dowell and cool as fook -

It seems strange to me that you state that you are from "Cali" and that you state that you live in Santa Cruz and are the twelth generation and you cannot appreciate the helmet that ICON calls dias de los muertos. hideous, I believe was your responce. Mayhaps you just forgot your roots. It has been my experiance that people from Ca. do not refer to the state as Cali. It is ussually a sure sign of importitude. I'm originally from Flori, but have lived in Washi, Ari, Massa, Neva, Virgi, Texa, and recently moved to Cali from Ala.

I don't have any good pics with my lid on the SD, but I did get shot on the "Snake" a couple of times.

I have this Shoei XR1100 which I use mainly on the road and on my RC8, it fits my intercom nicely into it for my sat nav as it has recesses specifically for this and is very comfortable and the best ventilation I've ever had, the only downside of the ventilation being that there's no mesh on the inlet ports and flys seem to be pushed through into the airstream that runs over the visor and bounce around in there occasionally hitting me in the eye so that's a pain when it does happen but it's a great helmet so I'd still get another one if I needed to.

Image

If I knew it existed at the time I may have been swayed to this colour scheme instead

Image

Then on track and some weekend blasts on the SD I use this AGV Stealth

My only issue with it is that the padding around the ears is really tight on the ears, if I wear it too long my ears hurt, it pushes the ear plugs too, it was a complete disaster when I had my intercom fitted and so I stopped wearing it unless I needed the intercom as it would have been too much hassle to keep taking it in and out, so when my old track helmet disintegrated that I was using instead I was very happy to replace it with the xr1100 and be able to use it again.

Arai Astro R VDB rep as it matched my GSXR1000, currently in the market for a black Viper GT (new version of the same).
Image

Always had Shoei before as the odd number sizes (ie 55) fitted perfectly, since they went to even sizes they don't.

Also have a Black Roof Boxer flip up for popping into town/pub etc.
Image

Have a Rainey Rep from years ago, don't want to throw it as he's my hero. Will leave a black visor on it & will mount it on a wall at home someday.
