#2You've got to snip the 2 wire ties, unsnap the permanent wire tie, undo most of the connections, then wrestle that cover off, unscrew the negative, and then thread the battery screw through 3 other connections back to the battery, re-plug most of the connectors, route everything back on the permanent wire tie, if yer anal, clasp 2 new zip ties and remount the belly cover....good fun, sorta like the 15 step oil change. I still love the bike.

#9This is my Akra map V custom map dyno graph. The Akra map (blue line) is all over the place on the A/F graph at the bottom, the PC map (red line) is bang on the optimum (dotted line) and gives about another 4hp.

#10Sorry, I forgot, cost! It depends really on how long it takes to get the best map. I got my SD set up for free by Dynojet UK, as it was the first one they'd done, and wanted the map for their database. The last time I was at BSD, they charged me £120 for my TL, but their were a lot of issues and electrical problems to sort on the way, so I thought it was reasonable. Give them a ring and ask for a ball-park figure, my guess is £80 - £120. Dynojet did about 50 dyno runs with my bike! Yours should be less as they've already got a good base map now that comes with the PC.

#11I'm having my PCIII fitted and set up on the dyno at next Friday.
The fixed cost is £170 but this includes the fitting and about 3 hours dyno time.
They did my MV in 2005 and I was well impressed.
They have also done a number of SD race bikes.
