#6So, THEY fitted the box? Are you sure it wa done right? SAS removed and resistor sorted properly, O2 sensors etc?
I wouldn't have anyone else fit the MH box to mine. Just saying.

#7I'm with you there Shade. It's not a difficult install, plenty of nice tutorials to follow on this site (Bic's in particular). I was one of the first few and didn't have the luxury of Bic's handywork with the camera. Didn't have any issues all the same. Having said that, I've worked on a few bikes in my time and refuse to let anyone other than myself touch them.
I hope you get it sorted because when properly installed the results are nothing short of amazing.

#9Wow that sounds strange I will be getting a dyno on wed mornibg, I will let you know my HP, I did not do a before unfortunately, maybe I can tell a difference based on stock info.

#16Ok so I finally got back into town and looked at the charts and they are not as bad as they said but still a loss in both HP and Torque. Looks like a loss of 4.3 HP and 1.22 ft-lbs torque.
A custom map was done for the box install and it is confirmed that not additional oil was put on the filter (still dry).

#17the A/F mix graph is going to be key in answering this issue....that map looks a bit crap mate.
Those figures are well below what they should be, mine was chugging 128bhp BEFORE the MH box went on with a really naff map. 132 now she's done properly. (08 SDR too of course)

#18Its only a small point, but if you paid to have a custom map done I would expect them to take a lot more runs than 5 to get it setup right.
On your piccies of the runs they have chosen runfile 5 as the new peak.
Mines only a standard superduke but had it custom mapped without a MH airbox and they did 55 runs to get it set up correctly.
Take it back to em mate.

#19mine was done in much less than 55 runs but each bike is different. They have to do passes at various throttle %s.
2, 5, 7, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100. Or thereabouts. Each one needs at least 1 or 2 passes to tweak.
