g,day all, visiting here daily i notice there are a lot of aussies with super dukes, and a good percentage are queenslanders, things are getting quite desperate here, the rain and flood waters are claiming lives, property and infastructure. I hope everyone is safe and well, and remember, posessions can be replaced, don't do anything silly!
Good to see our illustrious PM delivering a press conference offering nothing but froth and bubble, useless cow! qld has been in flood crisis for 3 weeks with not a sniff of support or help from the federal govt. I hope anna bligh and the qld govt. have their shit together cause just about every one will need some sort of assistance in one way or another.

paul.
Yeah, of course they should, and they will. Bit hard yet to put a dollar figure on it as the water hasn't gone down. The damage will be in the multiple billions with more yet to unfold. As I type this the Brisbane river has broken its banks and sections of the city are being evacuated. This is biblical, and is shaping to be even bigger disaster then the '74 flood.

Hi guys,
Was out checking out the floods today after sandbagging the house of a friend all yesterday.. Wanted to make it to the dams but the road is closed just after the cafe on Mt Glorious, there were a lot of debris and land slides over the road as well..

Here's what Auchenflower looks like..

And in true hooligan tradition - disregarding the road signs..

Hope you guys are all alright. Most of my mates are Victorians tho. Ironically my ex-gf has just emigrated to Oz, and you guessed it - Brisvegas...
Took the back way home today from visiting my sister. Found that Stanley River Road is closed, and Peachester has had part slip away, so has stop/slow men about half way along.
