#17Grendel was out with a friend of his raising holy. As we came though a series of 25 - 30 mile corners in a canyon we came upon an older gent on a harley. Our closing speed was so fast I went around him just touching the centre line but plenty of room. My buddy about .001 seconds behind cut to the inside of him just at turn in on the corner.
We felt very bad, that we strafed him and he got rattled. Several miles later we were gassing up and the old man pulled up. He stopped his bike nd when he shut it off we could hear this sound coming from him which we could only interpret as outrage. When he took his helmet off we could finally hear him laughing his arse off! He said that was the coolest thing that ever happened to him on a bike getting passed on both sides that fast. He said it was over so fast he didn't even have time to get spooked.

#21Nothing hacks me off more than seeing a parade of cars being lead by a couple of asshats on Harleys putting along with their legs akimbo - seemingly in a "I'm such a bad ass" attempt to prevent being passed. While I haven't done it on the SD yet, but nothing beats a 120 mph low altitude fly-by on the GSXR in those occasions. I think it wakes them up a bit.
Outside of that situation however, I just wait for a clear and safe area to pass and execute the pass as I would in a cage.

#22When I come up behind a slower rider, I'll sit in his mirrors for a bit, blip the throttle to let them know I'm there. If after a minute or so of this they still haven't seen me (coz they iz so fast that nuffin cud of pozzibly caught 'em). I 'll pass giving a wide berth. I do find my technique leads most riders to move over and let me past anyways.
That said you always get the odd dickhead who starts riding beyond their capabilities as soon as you come up behind them!. One or 2 dangerous moves from them and I'll clearly indicate and pullover for a fag, saying inside my lid "yes m8 you uz soo fast nd so kool, I wish I waz u ". I'll be fooked If I'm gonna have some tosser crash trying to stay infront of me, just not worth it
