Quick Video. Opinions on mounting?

Finally got my cheapo eBay bargain £13 camera up and working.

Looking for some mountin options. It looks a pain in the ass to try and make up something to mount it to the tank/filler area. Tried it with tape but it wont stick properly. Went for the easy option and just gaffa taped it onto the right lower crash bung with a bit of rag behind to stop it vibrating.

Do you guys think it's worth running it like this. Cant make up my mind. Dont want to waste all the footage of my trackday on satuday with a crappy camera angle.

Before you watch the vid, bear in mind i just jumped on it quickly to get a recording to see if the camera worked, so stone cold tyres, and was wearing jeans and a hoody hence the absolutley abismal wheelie attempts towards the end and general faffing about round the bends.

Erm Quick vid. Opinions on getting the date set on Cam?

Looking good.(Don't know the road off hand).

Much better than the chin mount phone cam.

Think the position is VG. Certainly gives feeling of speed. Compared to KPH speedos on most Vids.

Amazing, How many Cyclists, we come across?

Bastadds.
For $13 bucks that's amazing....but why are you using your clutch to get that front end up?
Thanks for the input guys. To set the time i have to import a file to the cam and edit it from there. I'll get that sorted on my days off.

I'll have another quick look at bodging up a tank mount but really struggling for time this week so the crash bung cam might be the quickest option.

The camera is here, great quality for the price.....................

Low, i clutch them up coz thats the method i learned and feel comfortable with. When i'm doing proper wheelies i find it easier to nip the thottle back at the balance point and ride them out that way. With a big handfull of throttle i always find it hard to roll back to that sweet spot, where as the clutch up req's very little throttle so i just have to nip it back a tiny amount when itt gets to the balance point. The vid was just a muck about, and thats the 1st dry run with the quicker throttle mod done so still finding my feel with it.
Look at the topic I made about these little cams:
