I just installed a R&G tail tidy and I can not find that cover piece that goes over the license plate light. Is this cover really needed? I rode the bike last night for the first time and when looking at the rear of the bike, it seems that the light needs to be blocked (thinking this is what that cover is for) a bit, as the light is very bright and shines out from the license plate. Meaning the light shines 50% on the plate and 50% into your eye. So it's either that cover helps in this, or I need to angle the whole tidy tail down more. Thoughts..?

#2In the UK, the plod would pull you for having a white light facing backwards. So I would recommend you fit some sort of short shield to the light to prevent it happening.
Of course your Police may be more forgiving....

#4I suppose all you need is a very small piece of Aluminium that you can paint black and glue it to the light thingymajig. quite easy to make up for someone with any level of skill? So not me then
