I can confirm that R&G sliders work well. They grind down smoothly, do not catch, and prevent untold amounts of damage to expensive bits. I know this because I tossed my SD down the road while playing around spinning up the rear wheel with silly amounts of throttle and lean angle. The R&G ground down nicely (so did the brake pedal) but avoided all other damage save some scrapes on the bar end, brake lever and rear stand bobbin. I am dumb, but R&G is smart.

#4I'm good. I wasn't going very fast - probably less than 30mph. I was just screwing around trying to break the back end free and got too excited with the throttle. I was surprised at how little damage there was. When I did something similar with my last bike I wound up pushing it home.
