i have a race tomorrow morning, 1/4 mile. dont know the year of the 1100 ducati hyper, but mine is a 2008 990 duke with akros, akro map. ive read the duke has a few more horses but who knows. anyone seen a similar race?
Those things are air-cooled and lucky to make 90hp at the rear wheel stock.
It may be close, but you should be able to take him. In my experience, the Akra map is quite rich and will slow you down some. My bike pulled much harder once I installed the Bazzaz and had it dyno tuned to lean it out. Good luck upholding the honor of Austria.

you'll stuff the duck mate
the hyper is a good bike but not as fast or quick as the SD

pulling up a chair for this tho
a drag race? if you dont beat him you will have to resign from the forum or least stay away for a week!
the SD should decimate it. stay hard on the throttle and waaaay over the front wheel, the Hyper is quick off the bottom but runs out of steam fast.

do not embarrass us!
those focking things are all done by 7500 rpm
Unless you are doing a standing quarter in a straight line I suspect the quality of the rider on the Duke will be a factor. Anyone remember that photo of Rueben Xaus completely sideways on one at the launch? Mind you I dount Xaus ever stayed on a bike for a whole quarter mile.
hyper - 12.4 to 11.6 is the best ive seen

duke - 11.1 to 10.8

all down tho the rider , get out of first ASAP and wind out the rest of the gears
