Seen this one over on KTM forum. Looks good to me As far as I know a RC8 into a SD frame isnt viable. On the plus side RC8's have never been cheaper.

#4I saw a white one for 4500.00 quid the other day. Had a couple of cosmetic scuffs but perfect if you want to streetfighter it. Some of the summer prices are a bit optimistic at the minute, which is why I havent bought one yet. Come winter you would pretty much have your pick of 08 bikes for 5 grand cash. Sell all the fairing bits you dont need and an RC8 supernaked for about the same money dealers want for an 05 SD.

#6Just maybe me thinking aloud but when the new SD comes out how much is it gunna be and with all that electronic stuff on it.
This could be the way to go more power for alot less money.
Time will tell

#9I had a serious look at fitting an RC8 motor to the SD and the frame modifications necessary put me off. Its not impossible just a lot harder than you'd think.
There is a flat bar kit for the RC8(R) from LSL which works very well apparently.
