Umm been thinking that I might mill up some simple brackets to allow me to use my existing pegs/levers in a rear-set position.
Clearly, the fancy brands allow lots and lots of positions BUT I suspect that most people only ever use one once they've got themselves sorted.
Just out of interest, and I know this is a question like how long is a piece of string, where do most people locate their pegs relative to the originals?
In answering this I'd like to try to see if there is a pattern (correlation) between height and offsets (backwards and upwards).
Be keen to know:
Height Rearward offset from original peg position Upward offset from original peg position
I'm assuming that the relationship between lever and peg remains a constant because I don't believe anyone supplies shorter longer levers (or do they?).
If there is a good correlation then why wouldn't somebody just produce a plain blank bracket in which it would be possible to drill a single hole to mount the original controls? I know that the links may be shorter/longer but that is not rocket science to figure out a solution.
