Swapping tanks on my bike from 06 to larger 07, but 07 had minor damage so was either re spray or sticker kit, 60 quid for stickers...bargain covers up my plastic padding nicely.

LR designs made up the decals I requested and look bloody good nice thick motocross vinyl:

Was going to get my advertise my current employer but dont think it would go down to well

They can do any design you want for 06 of later models they can send you a template and do what you like, if you have an "off" they can replace one panel too

Panels are being sprayed up in my garage with white background before I can apply the graphics. Will post up when done.

Would usually post when its done but naff all going on on SD.net last couple of days thought would give you something to take piss out off.

I think its good for at least an extra 20% top speed

They must be short on business cuz when i got a quote off them they wanted to charge me £90 +twat!!!

Bought the white "in moto" panels from the bay.....not white anymore

Just waiting for laquer to dry, Hycote BMW metalic is a good match BTW

Nipped over to my house this afternoon and had a little play managed to get everything on and here are the results.

Im very happy with it, I think the Blue makes a nice change, may get front fender/spoiler/race numbers to match.

I went for the hairdryer method of heating up the vinyl and applying it.

I would not say the shapes were "perfect" but I got the main edges sorted which needed to match ie the RED.....BULL I used a standley knife to make a straight parallel line with the other sides.

Took about 3 attempts on each side for the panles but everything else went on faily easy.

Not tried the soap method just does not sound right to me

Right bit of an update, took the old number boards off and spent a good hour getting rid of all the glue

Had put the new number boards over the old ones to see if they were a similar shape the rears were fine but the front number board looked to be a little short, and I was soon to deduce there would be a gap between the 9 and the white was hoping there would be none.

Putting the number board on there is a big gap at the top which does not look right IMO, I then had to use a standley knife to cut into it as it would have just had a visible crease line on it.

You can almost see where I cut on the pic it is visible and I dont like it but due to the shape thats almost as high as I could put it.

Think im going to send LR my number board I ripped off and get them to do it again in the right size. Everything else is great but dont like the nose cowl so much prefered my old one more....

New redesigned number board:

Got them to make the logos bigger and also so that when it fits together the REDBULL does not have bits missing if you see ehat I mean.

The 9 should fit together about right.

New mask decals sorted awesome!!!

Thankfully my home made templates worked.

Believe they were FOC too (unless they used my card details with out asking best g check ).

Had to lighten them up up a bit so not as bright as it looks still other bits being done so not ready to be removed out of the garage yet.

Went back out after seeing these pics to get rid of the black gap, now seemless. Shame the U in the redbull aint perfect not my doing just the way it came, its only minor can live with that.

Don't have the 07 on front mudguard, but if you just cut them a template out of card they will make it to that size, which is what I did with the re designed headlight mask.

They probably have them in stock but they are just slow to respond by email.

Yeah,

It is smaller, but I was just hoping to jazz up the headlight cover and surround enough to match the decals I've got on the rear seat cover section.

It is miles smaller thinking about it, which makes it even more important to get the template for the actual 07 SDR headlight.

I've got the design all ready to go, but LR said they only have the race mask template.

I forgot how much narrower the headlight is on the SDR compared to the 05 / race mask version.

Getting designs printed is becoming a major pain in the ass. LR Designs will not print anything with Red Bull, Jagermeister, Monster Energy or just about any other copyrighted logo except KTM which they have permission for. Man what a gip!
